Recovering from home after a spell in hospital can limit you with your daily activities. Whether you are recovering from major surgery, a stint of ill health our compassionate caregivers can assist you with person centred support to meet your needs.
Arthritis, physical disabilities, and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent customers from caring for themselves. Our caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, exercising, personal care, shopping, medication, domestic duties and companionship.
Far too many times, people with dementia find themselves categorised, often losing their identity, when in fact, each is an individual and it is only dementia they have in common. Sometimes care will be of a practical nature, help with getting up, washing, or dressing or perhaps help with meals, laundry and ironing. However, it could also mean going out to the shops, a walk in the park or a visit to relatives or friends.
Many people with dementia are looked after on a day-to-day basis by a spouse or other family member. But caring relatives need a break from time to time and this is where our ‘companionship service’ can help. On an arranged day each week we will come and take over the role - allowing the family member time to themselves. Some of our customers may require live-in care, which is also available subject to staff availability. Dementia is very misunderstood and can also be a very lonely, scary time for that individual.
Our experienced and highly trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to both customers and their families. Our goal is to work in partnership with the other professionals to ensure the customer needs are met within the comfort of their own home.
